This article provides guidance on how to complete your project profile on TerraMatch. A project profile reflects the scope of work and targets you agreed to in your finalized contract.
[Please note: if your project is funded through the Priceless Planet Coalition (PPC), you will follow a different flow to create your project profile. LINK TO GUIDANCE TO COME.]
Step-by-Step Guidance for Profile Completion
Overview
Your team and project managers will be able to view the description and targets of your project within the project profile, and when you report on project progress across all your sites and nurseries, those numbers will aggregate up to the key indicators displayed on the page, so you can track progress over time.
Your project profile will be created when your application is officially “Approved” on TerraMatch. Once this happens, you will get an email notification and you will then be able to access and update your project profile.
Note: Most of the information required for your project profile will be ported over from your application; you will need to verify that the information in your project profile matches your finalized contract, and then add a few more key details.
If your project is funded under the TerraFund 3 cohort, the additional details you'll add to your project profile are:
- Restoration start and end date
- Project partners' roles
- Tree total broken down by restoration strategy (tree planting, direct seeding, and assisted natural regeneration)
- Hectare total broken down by restoration strategy and target land use
- Details on your project's siting strategy (though you can raise questions for your project manager about this, if you have them!)
- Nursery details including your seedling procurement approach, the number of nurseries you'll build/expand/manage, and the goal for how many seedlings you'll grow (if applicable)
- Short narrative descriptions of your jobs, volunteers, and direct beneficiaries targets
Please access your project profile on TerraMatch for additional guidance on what is required for each of the points above.
You can also find a checklist of all the fields in their project establishment form attached to this article, for reference.
