In this module, you will learn how to establish your project profile (mandatory) on TerraMatch.
This is Part 1 of the third training module that is required as part of your TerraFund project. Additional sections of this module will be released in the coming weeks, with details on how to establish nurseries and sites on TerraMatch. You can access the previous training modules from the right side of this page, under "Other Articles in this Section."

Section 1: What is a Project Profile?
Your project profile is a page on TerraMatch that represents the over-all scope of your funded project. Your project profile will include key details from your contract, like targets for trees to be restored, hectares to be restored, and jobs to be created; your project timeline; details on how you're sourcing project inputs like seedlings, and your siting strategy.
The project profile will be complemented by nursery and site profiles. Nursery profiles represent the nurseries you're building, expanding, or managing for your TerraFund project. Site profiles represent the on-the-ground restoration areas that your project is operating in, respectively.
Every six months, you will fill out reports on your over-all project, as well as each nursery and site. The data from your nursery and site profiles will aggregate up to your project profile, so you'll be able to readily view your progress against your targets over the course of your project lifecycle.
Section 2: How to Complete your Project Profile
Your project profile will be automatically created once your application is officially approved on TerraMatch. Once your project profile is created, it will be in "Draft" status, which means that you can edit it. Most of the information required for your project profile will already be filled in from your application, though you may need to make some updates. Some new information will be requested.
Please review the demo below to learn how to navigate to, update, and submit your draft project profile:
Review step-by-step guidance on how to create your project here: How to Create Your TerraMatch Project Profile. This article includes details on which sections of your project profile will be populated from your application and which fields require new information.
Section 3: What is a Monitoring Partner?
A "monitoring partner" is someone who is added to your project on TerraMatch. They will have access to your organization-level information, and all of your project/nursery/site data and reports.
Team members who are financial, GIS, or reporting leads should be added as monitoring partners; anyone else who might need to contribute to the project may be added.
Section 4: How to Add or Remove Monitoring Partners on Your Project
When your project is created, anyone who is part of your organization will be added as a monitoring partner. After that, you can add and remove monitoring partners manually from the "Meet the Team" page.
