How to set up your PPC Project on the IMP
Project establishment:
Once you have registered your organization, the next step is to create a project that reflects all of your PPC-funded work. Some information, like the overall summary of the project and its aggregate goals, is collected at the project level, while additional data that is specific to each site within the project, like information on the history of land use in each area, is collected separately for each site.
To set up a project you first want to navigate to the "My Projects" tab located in the top navigation. once there you should see a blue button that says "Create New TerraMatch Monitoring Project"
Once you click that button you will be taken to a page that will prompt you to input your project access code. The access code for the PPC is "PPC" without the quotations. When entered you will be taken to the PPC project creation flow. Below you will find a video walk through of the project creation process along with a checklist of all the information required when you submit your project.

Site establishment:
After creating your project, you can add the specific sites where planting will occur. As stated in the PPC monitoring protocol, you should create a new site profile for each individual restoration site when you begin preparing for planting, even before the first trees go in the ground.
Below you will find a walk through on how to create a site in the IMP as well as a checklist of what questions we ask in the site creation process.
