What is the PPC definition of a site?

Definition: A site is a contiguous area of land that is undergoing restoration.

Noncontiguous areas can be classified as the same site only if they meet the criteria in the monitoring framework, which is they are within 100m, have the same landowner and same landscape characteristics.

To create a good site polygon, consider a contiguous plot of land, subdivided into sections based on intervention type (required) and other strata (optional).

See slides 36-38 in the attachment, and the diagrams below, for more details.
