Grouping Nurseries on TerraMatch

This article provides guidance on how to determine when your organization can group multiple nurseries into one TerraMatch profile.

Criteria for Grouping Multiple Nurseries into One Nursery Profile on TerraMatch

If your organization is building or managing multiple nurseries to produce seedlings for your TerraFund project, you may be able to group multiple nurseries into one nursery profile on TerraMatch, to streamline your biannual reporting workload. 

You can group multiple nurseries into one nursery profile on TerraMatch if they share some or all of the following characteristics:  

• They provide seedlings to the same area(s)​
• They grow the same mix of species
• They apply the same standard nursery management practices ​
• They are in close proximity to each other

If your project includes multiple nurseries, some may need their own profiles if they don't meet the criteria above, and it may be possible to group others. 

In your first report on each nursery, your project team will need to submit a geolocation point/geotagged photos of each of the individual nurseries within the nursery profile.
