I am an alumni of the Land Accelerator Africa Top 100 cohort, can I apply again?
If you or your company have previously been selected to join the Land Accelerator Africa cohort, you are not eligible to apply for the program again. In order to maximize the number of companies the Land Accelerator works with every year, companies can only join the Land Accelerator Top 100 cohort once.
Several opportunities for continued learning and business growth are available to Land Accelerator Top 100 alumni!
Alumni participation in virtual Land Accelerator sessions
All alumni will receive an invitation in April 2024 to sign up to join the virtual Land Accelerator sessions. Alumni can choose to join any of the virtual sessions offered from April 23 to July 11. Some sessions will be familiar to alumni while others have been newly added to the 2024 program.
Attendance to these sessions is completely voluntary for alumni. No certificate or opportunity for innovation grant is offered to alumni participants. Past alumni participants have learned new skills and benefitted from repeated learning about pitching, impact monitoring, financial modeling, and more. Repeating sessions can also help alumni prepare a stronger application to the Phase 2, Top 15 cohort.
Apply for the Phase 2, Top 15 cohort
All Land Accelerator Top 100 alumni who have not previously been selected to a Top 15 cohort will be invited to apply again for Phase 2 of the program. Top 15 cohort alumni are not eligible to apply again.
All Top 15 applicants must submit a pitch deck, website, and site visit video. Every year, Land Accelerator alumni not previously selected to the Top 15 are selected for the new cohort. Alumni can increase their chances of successful selection by applying lessons learned in the Land Accelerator and by attending 2024 sessions as an alumni cohort participant. Invitations to apply to the Top 15 will open in July 2024.
Land Accelerator Landscapes Cohorts
All Land Accelerator alumni who operate within the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, the Ghana Cocoa Belt, and the Lake Kivu and Rusizi River Basin of Rwanda, Burundi and the DRC are invited to apply to the new Land Accelerator Landscapes program. Learn more and check eligibility here.
