This article provides an overview of how to create a project on TerraMatch from your application.
Once your application has been approved, you will need to create a project profile on TerraMatch, reflecting the goals and targets agreed upon in your contract. Follow the steps below to create your project profile.

- Tap on your approved application.
- Tap on "Set up monitoring project" to begin your project profile.
- Complete your project profile and submit it for review.

1. Find your approved application on the homepage
Your application will have a status of "Approved" highlighted in green
2. Tap on your approved application.
This will bring you to the approved application page, where you can review the feedback on your application and see the call to action to start creating your project on TerraMatch.
3. Tap on "Set up monitoring project" to begin your project profile.
Your profile will be pre-filled with data from your application. For most projects, key numbers will have changed between the proposal and the signed contract. Make sure to update the fields in your project profile to reflect the goals and targets you signed for in your contract. At the same time, closely review your written project descriptions so that they accurately reflect your final project scope.
If you are not able to complete your project profile in one session, you can tap on the blue button in the banner image that says "Close and continue later." This will save a draft of your project profile.
4. Complete your project profile and submit it for review.
- If you leave the project creation flow and need to access your draft project, simply tap "My Projects" in the top navigation menu on TerraMatch, and find your draft project on the "My Projects" page

- Please review all of the data in your project profile before you press "Submit." You can download your application and review the data there, or review your answers section by section within the platform (and navigate back to edit as needed).
- When you're ready, submit your project profile; this will close it for editing and send it to your project management team for review.
- You will see a status of "Awaiting Approval" on your project page. If any further information is required, your project manager will request more information and you will be able to edit any fields as needed.
- Once your project manager has fully reviewed your profile, they will approve it, and you'll see a new status of "Approved" on the project page.
- If you need to edit your project profile once it is approved, you can tap the "Edit" button on the project page; your project manager will need to review and approve the changes before they are reflected on TerraMatch.
