TerraFund for AFR100 Landscapes 2024-2025 Implementation Timeline

For restoration champions that have received finance from TerraFund for AFR100 Landscapes, there will be some key milestones throughout 2024.

In the first year as a member of the new TerraFund cohort, you will embark on an the extended collaborative onboarding process. Over the course of the year, this will include workshops, webinars, reporting on TerraMatch, working with your project manager, and for most, will include your first year of planting. Below you will find some important dates to keep in mind as you embark on your journey as a TerraFund partner.

March 30, 2025	Quality Assurance Process for January Reports & Polygons Completed
March - April	Fourth Payment Issued on Approval of Project, Nursery, & Site Reports & Polygons
December 13, 2023	Welcome Webinar for TerraFund Landscapes Cohort (Private)
December & January	First Payment Issued on Contract Signature
January 10, 2024	Virtual TerraFund Landscapes Launch
January 15 to February 2	In-Person TerraFund Launches & Onboarding Workshops
February 10	TerraMatch Project Profiles Due & Projects Will Identify If They Are Contiguous, Distributed, or Hybrid
March 31	Project Managers Complete Quality Assurance Process for TerraMatch Project Profiles
March & April	Second Payment Issued on Approval of Project Profile
April - May	In-Person Trainings for Site & Nursery Creation, Polygon Collection & Report Submission. The dates for the events vary by landscape, partners receive invitations directly.
June 1	TerraMatch Profiles Created for Sites and Nurseries with Planting Through June 30, 2024
June 30	Project Managers Complete Quality Assurance Process for TerraMatch Site and Nursery Profiles
July 31	First Reports on Activity from Jan 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024 Due on TerraMatch & Polygons Submitted for Review from TerraFund MRV Team
