How to Submit Your Expression of Interest on TerraMatch

This article will walk you through how to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) on TerraMatch for Harit Bharat Fund.

Locate the Call for Applications 

After your organization has been accepted into TerraMatch, you should see the Harit Bharat Fund call for applications on the homepage. You must first login and then locate the "Opportunities" section right below your user dashboard (circled in red).

The call for applications that you see on the TerraMatch homepage should align with your organization type. For-profit enterprises should see an Harit Bharat application for enterprises and non-profit organizations should see an application for non-profit organizations.

Review Application Questions

When you click on the blue "Apply Now" button, you will be taken to an overview page before heading into the application form. On this overview page, you will see links to the Resource Center and a link to download the application questions.

Draft + Gather Answers to Application Questions 

Once you are ready to begin the application, click the blue "Continue" button. It will prompt you to select a project pitch. If you don't already have a pitch in the system, select "Create a new Pitch" and click the blue "Continue to application" button.

If you already have a draft project pitch in the platform, you can select your pitch in the drop down, which will automatically populate elements of the application for you. 

You can save the draft of the application at anytime. To save the application, click the blue "Close and continue later" button at the top right of the application screen. 

You can continue to work on your application draft by clicking on the draft thumbnail located in your applications dashboard on the TerraMatch homepage (circled in red below). Click on "View Application" and then "Continue Application" to access the application form again. 

If you create several application drafts and want to delete one, you can click on "View Application" and then select the white "Delete Draft" button. 

Submit Your Expression of Interest on TerraMatch

Once you feel satisfied with your application, you may submit on the final screen shown below. On this screen, you have the ability to download the answers you provided and review all the answers you have submitted.

Once you submit your application, you will see a message that confirms your submission and outlines the next steps. After you submit your application, the status on your application thumbnail on the TerraMatch dashboard will change from gray to blue and will say "Awaiting Review," which designates that your application has been successfully submitted and has successfully reached the Harit Bharat Fund team. 

If you are confused about the status of your application, please reach out to [e-mail] with your organization name, and the team will check on your application status for you.

Do not submit an application until it is complete, as you cannot edit your application after submission. If you need to adjust the content of a submitted application, you will need to submit a new application. If you do submit a new application, please let the TerraMatch team know by contacting [e-mail]. 

Your organization may submit up to 3 expressions of interest, but they should use three unique project pitches and differ in restoration intervention, location, and proposed project description. Expressions of interest that are obvious duplicates will be deleted, with the most recent submission assumed to be the most accurate.

Hear Back in October!

We will be letting all applicants know the outcome of this initial application cycle in October. You will be notified through both a general email that describes the next steps, along with a message from TerraMatch containing specific feedback on your application. When you log into TerraMatch, the status of your submitted application(s) will reflect this decision. 

Applicants who are accepted will be prompted to return to TerraMatch to submit a full application.
